Balboa Hot Tub Error Codes: What Each Code Means
These are the codes most often shown on Balboa topside panels. Codes can differ by model, so check the owner's manual for your system before you act on a code.
Electrical safety: the spa's electrical equipment can cause serious injury or death. Before you touch anything near the equipment, turn the spa off at its breaker or disconnect. Do not open the equipment cover, control box or panel. Wiring, breakers, GFCIs, heaters and control boxes must be repaired by a licensed electrician or qualified technician.
| Code | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| OH | Overheat. The spa shuts down to protect itself. | Do not use the spa while OH shows. Let it cool. Check the water level and filter. Call us if it returns. |
| FLO | Low flow or a flow switch problem. | Check the water level and filter. Call us if it repeats. |
| HH | Heater high-limit shutdown. | Do not use the spa while HH shows. Call us if the shutdown repeats. |
