Gecko Hot Tub Error Codes: What Each Code Means
These are the codes that appear most often on Gecko systems. Gecko boards differ, so check the manual for your model before you act on a code.
Electrical safety: the spa's electrical equipment can cause serious injury or death. Before you touch anything near the equipment, turn the spa off at its breaker or disconnect. Do not open the equipment cover, control box or panel. Wiring, breakers, GFCIs, heaters and control boxes must be repaired by a licensed electrician or qualified technician.
| Code | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| FLO | Flow not detected by the pressure switch. | Check the water level and filter. Call us if it repeats. |
| OH | Overheat: the water is too hot. | Do not use the spa while OH shows. Let it cool. Call us if it returns. |
| HL | High-limit shutdown from the heater sensor. | Do not use the spa while HL shows. Call us if the shutdown repeats. |
We have not yet confirmed these meanings against Gecko's own manual for every board. If your code is not listed here, or the meaning does not match your manual, call us.
